A big step forward for medical access in the North Bay region.
Three new family doctors officially open up a new clinic on Maplewood Avenue today. It’s called the Northern Shores Medical Clinic, and has three graduates from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. They will be accepting around 3,600 patients. The grand opening happens at 1:00pm.
Currently, there are between 10,000 and 12,000 people without a family doctor in the North Bay area.
