The municipality of West Nipissing wants to help increase the number of blood donors in the community.
In a presentation from Canadian Blood Services, council heard there has been a decline in blood donors. Mayor Joanne Savage says they will be working with the organization to help promote future clinics. The municipality also wants to help host a blood clinic in Sturgeon Falls this summer.
The next clinic in the area is happening February 16th, at the recreation complex in Sturgeon Falls. Visit www.blood.ca to make your appointment.
