Exciting news out of West Nipissing. The group Neighbours Without Borders has surpassed their fundraising goal to bring a family of Syrian refugees to the community.
They originally wanted to raise $29,000, but collected over  $44,000 in just a few weeks. The group has now ended their fundraising efforts, and is waiting on details about when a family will be arriving.
