Hospice project gets shot in the arm

The Nipissing Serenity hospice program has its land for an end-of-life facility.  North Bay council has virtually donated two acres in the Metcalfe area to the group.  It actually sold the land, which is valued at $230,000, for one buck to Nipissing Serenity.  The group has to meet several conditions before it gets ownership and deputy mayor Sheldon Forgette believes the transfer should be complete within two years.
