The Dionne Quints home will not be returned to it’s original location in Corbeil.
In an open letter, Roch Legros and Russell Robinson say they have retracted their offer to house the home on the original Dionne farmland. The two say their plan was mostly met with pessimism and was at the centre of a political crossfire.
The proposal was to create a non-profit organization to have the building on it’s original property. The letter goes on to say any financial donations already made will be returned in full.
The future of the home is now uncertain, with the land it currently sits on up for sale in North Bay.
