The Anishinabek First Nation is raising awareness about its proposed education agreement with Canada.
If accepted, the agreement would allow participating First Nations to set their own laws for primary, elementary and secondary education. Right now, a ratification vote is set for November 2016. It would affect up to 4,000 students on reserves across Canada.
