Timiskaming-Cochrane MPP John Vanthof, and NDP Correctional Cervices Critic Jennifer French will be taking a visit to the North Bay jail today.
French is touring a number of jails across Ontario to gain information on the current labour dispute between the union representing correctional workers and the province. Over 6,000 correctional workers are set to walk off the job Sunday, including 50 in North Bay.
No new negotiation dates have been set between the union and province.
