Its good news for a West Nipissing boy whose been battling leukemia.
Seven-year-old Mackenzie Lariviere received his bone marrow and stem cell transplant over the holidays. The community came together for Mackenzie last month during a stem cell donor drive, and a match was found.
According a post by Mackenzie’s mom on Facebook, he is doing well, and playing video games to pass the time in the hospital.
