Monique Lugli has been appointed Chief of Staff to the Minister of the Status of Women. Lugli is a well-known local politician, who also serves as the Executive Director of Community Services for the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.
She will be assisting Patty Hajdu in her role as minister on a number of subjects, including the national inquiry into missing and murdered aboriginal women. In an interview, Lugli says she is looking forward to the new challenge, and working closely with Hajdu.
