North Bay councillor George Maroosis says Summer in the Park better not have another deficit next year. Maroosis was okay with giving the committee $80,000 a year for the next three years. But he told his colleagues that if the festival has another loss next year, he`ll want to rescind the 80 G`s for the remaining two years. Maroosis is concerned that the festival only managed to sell 4,500 concert tickets at $25 apiece which he says was a bargain. He believes the sales should have been higher and is wondering if the public is fatigued by the concerts. He says if there`s another deficit next year, it might be time to once again re-invent Summer in the Park.
