It’s the first snow day of the season.

School buses are cancelled in East Parry Sound, West Nipissing, Highway 11 North, North Bay, Callander, Bonfield, East Ferris, East Parry Sound, Trout Lake, Redbridge and Thorne and Mattawa this morning.

A freezing rain warning is in effect for North Bay, Powassan, Mattawa, West Nipissing, and French River. Rain is expected to change to freezing rain this morning, then snow. It should clear out this afternoon.
