North Bay and area police officers are doing their part to keep impaired drivers off the road this holiday season.
They kick off their annual festive R.I.D.E. program Monday. It will run through until January 2nd. The goal of the campaign is to educate people on the consequences of driving under the influence.
They will be holding their first ride check at Wasi corners on November 27th. The OPP says the Festive R.I.D.E. campaign is one of the most effective ways to get impaired drivers off the roads.
