Nipissing negotiations at standstill

Talks between administration and faculty at Nipissing University are at a standstill.

The faculty union says administration is unwilling to negotiate. President Susan Srigley says faculty have been in daily talks with the Mediator, and have learnt that Administration is not prepared to return back to the bargaining table.

Meanwhile… Faculty insist they are ready to meet and negotiate at any time. They’ve been on strike for three weeks over wages and job security.
