OPP launch school bus campaign

The North Bay OPP is reminding drivers to be more alert when school buses are out.

Police have seen a spike in incidents involving school buses in October. They have launched a two week blitz to monitor high traffic areas when buses are out.

The OPP have partnered with the “Let’s Remember Adam” campaign, which is celebrating their 10th anniversary, to launch this initiative. Failing to stop for a school bus that has its overhead red signal lights flashing can results in a fine up to $2,000 fine and six demerit points.
