ETFO heading back to the bargaining table

The union representing Ontario’s public elementary school teachers is heading back into negotiations with the province.

The announcement came hours after the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario filed an unfair labour relations complaint to the Ontario Labour Relations Board. A time and location for the next round of talks has not been confirmed. Talks last fell through between the two parties on September 11th.

The union represents 76-thousand employees across the province, including elementary teachers in the Near North District School Board. They have been working without a collective agreement since last year.
