The Liberal challenger running for federal office in Nickel Belt says the Ring of Fire is a very important project for all of Northern Ontario.
Marc Serré says on thing that needs to be done is sitting down with First Nations over the chromite site. He says the federal Conservatives haven’t done this and a Liberal approach to launching the chromite project would be different.
Serré is running against Conserative hopeful Aino Laamanen, Stuart McCall of the Greens, Dave Starbuck who represents the Marxist-Leninist party, and NDP candidate Claude Gravelle.
