Results in for North Bay Police’s Back to School campaign

For the most part, drivers were following the rules during North Bay Police Services Back to School Traffic Campaign.

Police monitored traffic in school zones and school bus routes for a two week period in September. There was only one incident of a driver who didn’t stop for a school bus. The school bus driver said it was a young man who was talking on his cellphone at the time.

Cops are now investigating. Police also issued eight provincial offence notices to drivers who were speeding in school zones.
