The Liberal candidate for Nickel Belt says the riding has many diverse communities and is mostly rural in nature.
Marc Serré says the common need is jobs, especially for young people in the area. Serré says he is in support of the Energy East Pipeline project, because it has the potential to bring jobs to the riding.
He says regulations also need to be in place to make sure the pipeline is secure and does not pose a risk to local drinking water and natural resources in the riding.
