News Fedeli asks for fair treatment among communities SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Friday, Mar. 7th, 2014 Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the premier is being unfair when dealing with communities damaged by severe weather. Following December’s ice storm, Southern Ontario got a bailout package worth $190-million. But Fedeli says the Wynne Liberals won’t give Callander $100,000 for a July wind storm that heavily damaged that community. Fedeli says the damage his constituents incurred, like spoiled food, damaged homes and downed trees, is what the south also experienced. The Tory MPP says it looks like the Premier applies a double standard when a community is not part of the GTA.
