Dionne Quintuplets artifacts need new home

The North Bay chamber of commerce is talking to the city about finding a partner to handle the artifacts from the Dionne Quintuplets Museum.  Chamber president Jake Lacourse says the chamber has talked to the two surviving Quints and they’re alright with closing the house.  Lacourse says the Quints want to ensure that future generations know their story and he says that’s what the chamber is working on now.  Lacourse says one possibility is to turn the artifacts into a touring exhibit that goes from town-to-town.  He says this is a common practice for museums and would make the artifacts accessible year-round.  It’s not known just yet what will happen to the actual Quints museum building once all the artifacts find a new home.
