Busy long weekend for North Bay Police

North Bay Police arrested and charged 10 people over the Labour Day long weekend. The offences ranged from drug possession to drunk driving. In total, police responded to 320 calls for service.

One of the weekend incidents involved a downtown assault. Police allege that a North Bay man beat up two victims on Friday night. The assaults happened at two downtown apartments just hours apart. The 41-year-old now faces four charges including breach of probation and assault. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
