North Bay man charged for slew of break-ins

Police have charged a North Bay man for breaking six transformers at a local business.

The 30-year-old man allegedly broke into a fenced compound of a business on Highway 11 three different times this year and tried to steal copper from within the transformers. Each transformer is worth an estimated 250-thousand dollars.

Police arrested the man yesterday on Four Mile Lake Road, and also found a small amount of MDMA on him. He’s been charged with three counts of break and enter, mischief, and drug possession.
