Temagami Bridge being replaced

The bridge that crosses the Temagami River in River Valley is being replaced by the Ministry of Transportation.

The 32-metre bridge is used by numerous camp owners, residents, and school buses. It is made of timber and is getting old. Construction will begin this November.

There will be temporary hour long closures of Highway 539A after the work begins which the public will be notified about. The Ministry of Transportation made the project announcement at a council meeting in West Nipissing last night.
