A North Bay man is facing 17 domestic related charges.
The 28-year-old is accused of choking, threatening, and sexually assaulting a woman on several different occasions in July. He is also accused of breaking into the victim’s home, stealing her cellphone, her bank card, and her car keys.
The list of charges is as followed:
-Two counts of uttering threats;
-Three counts of assault;
-One count of assault with a weapon;
-One count of sexual assault with a weapon;
-One count of break enter and commit;
-One count of sexual assault;
-One count of mischief;
-One count of theft; and
-Six counts of breach of undertaking.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police will not be releasing the name of the accused to protect the identity of the victim.
