Prescription medications stolen in Sturgeon Falls grocery store break in…

Some prescription medications have been stolen from a grocery store in Sturgeon Falls.

Thieves disabled the stores alarm and broke in early Saturday morning. They stole pharmaceuticals before attempting to break into a safe in the office. Police believe they were unsuccessful at getting any money out of the safe. The culprits got away, but the investigation is ongoing.

West Nipissing Police officers are looking into security footage from neighbouring businesses. They are also asking anyone with information to call them at 705-753-1234.
