Stat holiday closures to ring in the new year

Richard Coffin
By Richard Coffin

Thursday is New Years Day and that means the usual stat closures.

Most retail outlets and government offices are closed on Jan. 1.

Here in West Nipissing the Municipal Office, the Community and Recreation Centre, Arenas and Landfills are all closed on Thursday and Friday.

For holiday schedules, visit the pool and fitness centre and arena pages on the municipal website.

Officials also say outdoor rink availability is weather-dependent, with updates being posted on the Outdoor Rinks page
