The North Bay Police Service is welcoming two new experienced officers to its ranks.

Officials say constables Elizabeth Bell and Charles Goulard bring extensive experience and strong ties to the community.

Bell was a city police officer from 2011-16 before joining the Ottawa Police Service, where officials say she gained experience in patrol, crime scene work, specialized response teams, and youth mental health.

Cst. Goulard began his policing career with the West Nipissing Police Service, then Anishinabek Police Service.

Officials say he brings experience in uniform patrol and specialized roles while taking on leadership and training responsibilities.

“Swearing in Cst. Bell and Cst. Goulard represents a significant addition to our service,” says Acting Deputy Chief Jeff Warner.  “Both bring extensive experience and a deep connection to our community. Experienced officers play a vital role alongside our new recruits, enhancing our operational capacity and helping us maintain the highest standards of policing.”

Warner says they’re proud to welcome the two experienced officers to their team.
