Equipment vandalism was listed as the cause of a power outage affecting a large swath of area from West Nipissing to the South River area. Â
That was according to Hydro One’s outage map, which also said about 2,400 customers were impacted. Â
The power was restored for most customers just after 9:30 am.
The outage map showed impacted areas extended from West Nipissing across Lake Nipissing, through the Commanda and Restoule areas to Eagle Lake in South River.
