Nipissing University says its graduates achieved impressive results in the 2023 Nursing Registration Exams Report.
That includes a pass rate of 94.2% which officials say underscores the university’s commitment to excellence in nursing education.
The report, which provides comprehensive data on the performance of nursing graduates across the province, highlights Nipissing as a standout institution with graduates consistently performing above the provincial average on the registration exams.
“These results are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, faculty, and staff,” says Dr. Kevin Wamsley, President and Vice-Chancellor of Nipissing University. “We are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment that equips our students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their nursing careers,”
Dr. Karey McCullough, Interim Associate Dean of the School of Nursing says prioritizing student-centered learning ensures that graduates are not only competent, but compassionate and patient-focused caregivers.
“Nipissing graduates are well-prepared to meet the challenges of modern healthcare and to make a positive impact on the communities they serve,” says Dr. McCullough.
Officials also attribute Nipissing University’s success to its state-of-the-art simulation labs, extensive clinical placements across the province, and more.
