Road rage leads to assault with a weapon and threats charges for North Bay man

A North Bay man has been charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats after what police are calling a road rage incident.

The OPP says around 12:30 Thursday afternoon, officers were called to a weapons complaint on Dutrisac Rd. in West Nipissing.

Police say it was reported two vehicles had been involved in a road rage incident on HWY 17, and pulled onto a side road to confront each other… before one driver took out a knife, and threatened to harm the other one.

The 32-year-old is scheduled to appear in North Bay court in April.
