Only a slight year-over-year decrease in job postings is being reported for December in Nipissing.
The Labour Market Group reports 386 job postings that month.
That’s down 4.2 % from December 2022.
Month-over-month the decline was 10.1%.
The top five employers posting jobs include:
- North Bay Regional Health Centre
- Near North District School Board
- Canadore College
- Cementation Canada
- Nipissing University
Health Care and Social Assistance was the top hiring industry followed by Educational Services.
Retail trade rounds out the top three.
