Sudbury OPP are dealing with two separate collisions on area highways that killed two people Thursday afternoon. The first collision took place near Estaire on Highway 69 around 3:00 p.m. Police say a southbound car crossed the centre line and crashed into a minivan. A male passenger in the car was killed and three other people in the same vehicle suffered serious injuries. The other collision took place on Highway 17 in Wahnapitae around 5:00 p.m. when a car and pick-up truck collided head on killing the driver of the car. Details on how this collision occurred have not been released. Victims’ names from either collision have not yet been released.
