Study shows we're talking less to others directly

A study by Harris Decima finds we’re talking less directly with others.  The study finds people are communicating more by texting, e-mailing or using social media instead of talking on the phone.  The change is sweeping young and old people.  The study also shows that rather than give up their cell phone, 13 percent would lose the family pet and 10 percent would give up sex.  And about 66 percent of respondents say they wouldn’t live in a place where they can’t access the Net.
