Curling for Kibble fundraiser returns this month

A charity bonspiel to help the North Bay and District Humane Society offset the cost of food and litter is set to return.

The second annual ‘Curling for Kibble’ takes place on Saturday, Jan. 20 at the North Bay Granite Club.

The goal is to raise $10,000.

Officials say nearly 20,000 lbs of food and 25,000 lbs of litter are used at the shelter and its pet food bank every year.

“Curling for Kibble helps to feed hundreds of vulnerable and unwanted companion animals,” says Liam Cullin, Executive Director of the North Bay Humane Society. “The demand for services at our shelter and pet food bank remains high, so fundraisers like our charity bonspiel help to ensure we can help as many animals as possible.”
