A strike may be looming for CUPE workers at the AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area.
Over 25 people held a rally outside of the building yesterday, calling on the employer to make a move. CUPE has set a strike or lockout date for July 27th.
The Aids Committee says they have no intention of locking out employees on that date. Meanwhile… The union claims they have been trying to negotiate a contract for over a year, and the employer has refused to negotiate for months.
