Two people are facing drugs and weapons charges after a search of a John Street residence in West Nipissing.
Ontario Provincial Police report about $14,400 in suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine was seized last Tuesday, along with prohibited weapons and air guns.
A 38-year-old resident of West Nipissing and a 32-year-old person from Garden River First Nation are each facing several charges, including drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
The accused from West Nipissing was released with an October court appearance while the other accused was held for bail court with a court appearance Monday (Sept. 11).
