Nineteen firearms and ammunition have been seized by Ontario Provincial Police after a search of a residence in Markstay-Warren this week.
The Nipissing West OPP says the investigation began after officers responded to an incident in late May that involved a storage unit being damaged with a firearm.
There were no injuries.
A 66-year-old resident of Markstay-Warren is facing firearms-related charges.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 30 in Sudbury.
