A 69-year-old from Nipissing First Nation was found deceased by OPP Aviation Services on Wednesday afternoon.
The OPP says they were called to assist the Anishinabek Police Service in locating the person around 11 pm on Tuesday.
Police officials say they were contacted after the person went out on the lake fishing in a canoe and didn’t return. The investigation is ongoing.
