The West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation’s 12th Annual Run4Health is this weekend.
Hosted at the Sturgeon River House Museum this Saturday, officials say the event’s open to everyone, from seasoned runners to school-aged children. Participants have the choice of walking or running 2,5, or 10 kilometres. Registration opens at 9 am.
With a goal to raise mental health and addictions awareness, proceeds from this year’s fundraising event will be going to the Alliance Centre, – a community service which supports those with mental health and substance abuse-related issues.
