CUPE workers at the Aids Committee of North Bay and Area set to strike at the end of the month…

CUPE workers of the Aids Committee of North Bay and Area could be on strike by the end of the month.

The union says they have set a strike or lockout deadline for Monday, July 27th at 12:01 AM. There are 11 CUPE employees at the AIDS Committee that include medical professionals, social workers, and outreach workers.

The union says they have been trying to reach a first contract for over a year, and that the employer has not negotiated for months.
