Saying ‘yes’ to ENCORE has paid off for a North Bay man.
John Meeuwse matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 15, 2023, LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $100,000.
“I couldn’t believe it even after confirming my win on the OLG App,” says the 58-year-old healthcare worker. “My son didn’t believe me until we double-checked the ticket.”
He plans to donate some of his win, invest some and possibly take a trip to Cuba.
The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
