A series of events are lined up across the region next week for Workforce Week.
“Workforce Week is a week dedicated to showcasing the plethora of employment opportunities and services that we have available in Nipissing and Parry Sound Districts,” says Stacie Fiddler, LMG Executive Director.
She says events are lined up April 24 to 28 in North Bay, Almaguin Highlands, Sturgeon Falls and Parry Sound.
“We have a variety of job fairs happening. Of course, our BayWorks Job Fair is sort of our signature event. That takes place Thursday, April 27 downtown at the Grande,” Fiddler says. “On Wednesday we have an event called Connect. The target audience for that is any working professional in North Bay that would like to come out and network with like-minded individuals.” Fiddler says it includes a luncheon and keynote speaker.
Other events include open houses, resume session, women in trades, training sessions and more.
