Over 200 teenagers needed for film shoot

A local film production is looking for a couple of hundred young actors.

Ainslie S. Wiggs with Ainslie Casting says the call is going out to youth 12 and older and young adults who may be in their 20s but still look like teenagers.

“This is great for anybody who wants to see what happens behind the scenes, who’s into musical theatre or wants to act,” she says. “There are lots of opportunities to come out with your friends and you get paid.”

She says it’s $15.50 an hour, they’ll be paid for at least 8 hours and they will get fed, too.

“We’re still working on finalizing the schedule,” Wiggs says. “I know through the course of this movie I’m probably going to hire at least 250 teenagers.”

She says the movie is a comedy centered around a family that is into musical theatre.

Wiggs says details on how to apply are on her agency’s Facebook page.

The casting call says ‘Everything is Going to be Great’ is set in the 1980s and will be filming in North Bay from Apr. 21 to May 26.
