Ontario Northland has secured new contract work. The company will be doing locomotive maintenance and engine rebuilds for a local railway company, and repairs on several lumber, ore, and box cars. The new work means that some laid off rail car mechanics will be called back into work. The exact number of recalled employees has not been released.
