The Ontario Provincial Police has filed charges after an incident at the arena in Sturgeon Falls last month.
Nipissing West OPP reports officers were advised of an assault at the arena just after 9 pm on December 16.
Police say a person had been assaulted and did not require any medical attention.
The accused, a 43-year-old Gravenhurst man, faces an assault charge.
He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in West Nipissing court on February 2, 2023.
