If you`re in a community that doesn`t have restrictions on the drug Fentanyl, a northern MPP says you could face problems. Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says some cities have adopted his Private Members Bill even before it becomes law. Under it patients must return their Fentanyl patch to a drug store before they`re issued a new one. This stops old patches from being sold on the black market. Fedeli says criminals are now looking for towns and cities that still haven`t adopted the program and will try to sell the drug in those communities. Fedeli`s Bill comes up for public hearings when the Legislature resumes this fall.
