Residents of Nipissing no longer have to travel to Sudbury to take their GED High School Equivalency Exam.

The Literacy Alliance of West Nipissing says Sturgeon Falls has been selected as the official “Off-Site Test Centre” for the exam. Every year two exams will be hosted in Sturgeon Falls in June and December.

The next will be on December 2nd and 3rd of this year. The Literacy Alliance of West Nipissing is offering free sessions for people to prepare for the exam.
