The incoming winter storm means an early start to the holiday break at Nipissing University.
The post-secondary school says its campus will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 for the safety of students, faculty and staff.
“All University buildings and facilities will be closed, with the exception of Security Services and residence buildings,” states a release. “This closure extends to all on-campus community spaces”
The university will then remain closed for the holidays as planned until Tuesday, Jan. 3rd.
Canadore College, meantime, starts its holiday closure at 4:30 pm Thursday, Dec. 22 and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd.
