The North Bay OPP detachment say there has been an increase in the number of crashes on Highway 11 and 17 in the area. Over the next two weeks they will be on the highways looking to reduce that number through enforcement and education.
You will notice more cops on the roads looking out for distracted driving, tailgating, speeding, and improper turns. They say it is the full responsibility of drivers to give their full attention to driving and to take their time in getting to their destination.
