There are mixed results with September’s job postings in Nipissing District.
The Labour Market Group (LMG) reports 675 job postings that month.
Compared to August, that’s down 3.3 percent while it’s 3.2 percent above the September 2021 figure.
337 unique employers posted jobs in September.
The top five include:
– North Bay Regional Health Centre
– Near North District School Board
– Cascades Casino
– Voyageur Aviation Corp
– Metro – North Bay
Health Care & Social Assistance was the top hiring industry followed by Retail Trade.
Accommodation & Food Services rounds out the top three.
LMG says for posting that listed annual salaries, the average was just below $61,000 while the average hourly wage was just over $22.
Nearly 70 percent of the jobs were classified as full-time.
